Avrilia

Nr 10 in Fantasy Collection

OOAK fairy sculpture by Mollamari Creations

Avrilia is young slender beautiful fairy lady wandering in misty forest.
With her magical white wings has she just landed to the dark forest of twilight secrets.

She has off white sheer organza costume, which is decorated with silver micro beads and micro glitter.
Her brown hair is soft and curly lambs wool. She has a loose bun on her head, and some loose locks around her face and neck.
Her hair and costume is decorated with hand-made tissue-paper roses.
Avrilia has long white wings made of cloth, they are sealed with varnish and decorated with silver micro beads and micro glitter.
The wings are gently pose able, but not detachable. Her eyes are silver and blue, and they are glazed to get very living expression in them. I have painted them with quality heat-set  oil colors. She has real eyelashes made of lambswool in her beautiful calm eyes. Her skin has three translucent layers of colourwash with heat-set oil paints, to achieve very living and fleshy tone of skin.

She is standing on a driftwood base, you can decide if she is taking off to fly, or has she just landed...
There is a brass tube in her right leg all the way to her hip, and the base has steal rod which fits the tube,
and she can be taken off from her base.
Her armature is made of silver-plated copper, and she has wires all the way through her fingertips to make them really strong.
Her every muscle, bone and all the tiniest details are hand sculpted by me without the use of any molds,
from professional quality polymer clay. I have not taken any molds of her.
She is 18 cm (7 1/8") in height from her head to her toe tip, and the overall height with base and wings is 30 cm  (11 7/8").
